Memorial Day Lemons
Retail sales were in full-swing this Memorial Day weekend, so of course I hit the local outlets to find some good deals. I never usually shop at Talbots, but my mom (my ultimate shopping buddy) wanted to check out the store. My eye automatically went to the gorgeous lemon skirt pictured below. This skirt brought back memories of a trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy, that my family and I took years ago. Never have I visited a more beautiful place- I would go back in a heartbeat.

I love the print on this skirt. Not only does it remind me of Italy, but it is perfect for warmer weather. Skirts and pants adorned with prints are ideal for the summer- they give off a light-hearted, care-free vibe, and that’s exactly how summer should be.

I’ve never been a Talbots shopper either, until seeing some really gorgeous pieces pinned on Pinterest recently. Lands End Canvas is another store that has my attention!

Most memorable vacation ever! Absolutely breathtaking views, great food, friendly people, azure seas. Awesome memories. Still makes me smile.
