Monday Style Quote

“One must simply take the days of their lives as they happen. If you spend time worrying over what is to come, which may or may not happen, then you will only be wasting precious days you will wish in the future you could have cherished a bit longer.” -R.J. Gonzales, Author of Mundahlia

This is a quote I need to learn to live by!

I may be MIA the next few weeks, as I will be traveling very soon (yay!).

Friday’s Most Wanted

I absolutely need this jacket. J. Crew somehow always gets it right – especially with their fall looks. If you haven’t read this on my blog before (which I’m sure you have thousand of times), I love fall. It’s my favorite season not only weather-wise, but also fashion wise. What’s so great about fall, is that you can layer, layer, layer! This jacket is the perfect layering piece, overtop of a tee with a sweater, paired with jeans, and boots.

What I love about this jacket is its length (mid-thigh), the color-blocking, and of course the hood (an absolute necessity for me). Hope everyone has a great weekend! I will spend the majority of my weekend preparing for a big trip (we’re leaving next Wednesday!).

Friday’s Most Wanted

I know I’m supposed to be enjoying the last few weeks of summer, but what can I say, I’m just a fall kinda gal (and Anthropologie sent me an e-mail with some amazing fall looks…). This week’s most wanted piece is the orange, cotton jacket in the photo below from Anthropologie. This is probably my favorite color to wear during the cooler-weather months, and I especially love the fly-away cut in the front. Lovely!

Friday’s Most Wanted

This week’s most wanted isn’t a piece of clothing, but instead something for the house/apartment. This year I’ve been into my “windowsill” garden, which includes a tomato, basil, and mint plant. This hanging terrarium would be a perfect addition to my little “garden” (you have to get creative when living in the city without a yard).
