If at any point you find yourself not enjoying the journey, you need to find different path.” -Quote from a book
Oh, here’s just another pair of boots that I just adore! There is no price, because of course they are no longer available, but just take a look at that leather in the picture below – you can tell it’s amazingly soft, and would feel super comfy. I saw these boots on Sundance.com, and even though they’re no longer available, you should take a look at the site, since you can find some other great products, such as unique jewelry pieces.
“I love mixing highs and lows. My signature look would include a bargain find (whether is be from Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack, or Loehmann’s) paired with an investment piece, like a structured jacket or a statement necklace.” -Blogger Sara Azani
I love this quote, because it explains my signature style as well. Mix an expensive piece with some inexpensive pieces, and no-one will be able to tell the difference!

Since fall is practically here, I’m getting back into candles. I just love the smell of a nice apartment in the fall/winter, and a lit candle gives off a comfy vibe. I’m especially a big fan of soy candles, and found these great soy candles by Witch City Wicks on Brika.com. Take a look, and I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!
Since it’s Monday, and we all know how hard Monday is…
“One small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day.” -Anonymous
Since it’s almost scarf time ladies and gents (although I’m not sure what was up with the 90 degree weather the other day!), I wanted to share with you this amazing scarf I just happened to come across today. It’s like a scarf and necklace all in one! I’m also loving the color combos – purples, teals, blues, some browns, all complimented by a gold chain. This is a perfect fall and winter scarf.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and for those DC, VA, and MD folk, if you have nothing to do, come check out the Ukrainian Festival at St. Andrew’s Church.

I have just returned from an amazing trip to Hawaii (would love to live there one day!), so thought this quote was appropriate. Below are some photos from the islands we visited.
